ABOUT 

Bianca Gouws has always had a passion for performing, but it was during her childhood that she truly realised it was her calling. Growing up, she and a friend would entertain guests at her mother’s guesthouse by re-enacting scenes from 7de Laan on a long concrete kitchen table—a simple moment that sparked a lifelong love for acting.

At the age of 12, after spending time in reflection and faith, Bianca felt a deep sense of purpose guiding her towards a career in acting. From that moment on, she pursued every opportunity to refine her craft, participating in ATKV competitions and Eisteddfods. She later studied Drama and Theatre Arts at the University of the Free State, where she deepened her skills and experience. During her studies, she also took part in the International Arts Talent Showcase, earning the honour of being invited to perform in Florida.

With a diverse portfolio that includes stage productions, advertisements, promotional videos, and music videos, Bianca continues to bring characters to life with depth and authenticity. Her most recent work can be seen on Season 3 of kykNET’s Diepe Waters, where she plays Detective Jenna Jansen—a driven, strong-willed investigator who refuses to be underestimated because of her gender and age. Fuelled by the loss of her mother and the justice that was never served, Jenna relentlessly pursues criminals and fights for victims, embodying a purpose greater than herself.
